Thank you for all your fabulous CC. It’s been invaluable over the years. I use your Main Coone hair on my female avatar, and have done for so many years. I’m bmit04, and my blog site is posesbybee. You can see this avatar there but I use it all over the internet. I was wondering if you would be willing to alter that hair just a little to remove the long bang that hangs over the eye. Normally I would never ever ask a creator to change their creation, but this bang makes it difficult to take good pics of the sim looking straight on. Pics can only be taken from the left side to see the face. I’m hoping this suggestion does not offend.

As for the ragdoll hair, I’m sorry but I don’t have any plans to convert it to Sims 4 right now.
Sorry I can’t help you with that.
However, it may be relatively easy to edit Ragamuffin to create Ragdoll-like hair if I use the remake version (with non-transparent shader). The base of these two hairstyles are the same.
I can’t make any promises, but if I have time, I would like to give it a try.

I apologize for bothering you. But I’ve recently encountered an issue with your Aug 23/2022 version of your Eyelash Remover mod. In the zip file it has two files, the one where you can choose in CAS to remove eyelashes or not – that one is fine.
But the one where it removes eyelashes for everyone automatically? It gives aliens (in their alien form) the “headless with floating teeth” glitch.
I’ve removed all my other mods, cleared the cache, repaired my game, etc and the issue still occurs. Again, the “Choose in CAS” version is perfectly fine. But the other one is not. I just wanted to report the issue in case it’s not just me.

I have just looked into the issue and found that some changes were made to the aliens, so I’m working on a fix.

Just a little heads up, your no ea lashes mod is broken for Aliens right now. It broke after the most recent game patch (v1.100.147/144).

Can you please tell me in detail in what situation the face disappearing problem occurs? With or without other mods, certain occult sims, gender, etc.
I have other mods of course but they were the same mods in my game when it was working. Just recently the issue came about, where my townies have no face, just teeth. i have to manually go in and select the ea lash remover in skin details for their face to appear
If you uninstall mods other than EA Eyelashes Remover, does the same problem occur?
This update only fixes the part about aliens that was changed in the latest patch, so all other sims should still work as before.
Yes the same problem occurs.other simmers have reported same issue in a discord group as well.
Are you installing the file name “[Kijiko]Remove-EA-Lashes_CAS.package”?
I installed the one where you dont have to go into CAS but i still have to in order for the face to show. Its weird
It is indeed weird. If you installed the one with the filename “[Kijiko]Remove-EA-Lashes.package”, it should not appear as a selectable item in CAS.
If you have both installed, please be sure to install only one of them and try it out, as it is not designed to use both at the same time.
Hi, I really like your eyelashes, but for my convenience in the mods folder, I would like to split the package, but Sims 4 Studio writes an error that the package was not merged into Sims 4 Studio. Is there any way to divide??

About the unmerging of the files, if the files have not been merged in Sims 4 Studio, the tool will not be able to split the files.
It is not impossible to split the files in that case, but it would be a bit of a tedious method.
I can’t promise a perfect solution, but if you let me know which file you want to split and how, I may be able to send you the files before the merge.

I believe this file can be unmerged with the tool.
However, the separate files may not work properly on their own, so please put all unmerged files in your Mods folder.

I love your content so much, I just have a couple of questions which youve probably gotten 25395 times haha, I’m trying to create sims 4 mods myself but I am very new and probably am asking very dumb questions as I fully dont understand the limitations of the game + modding + meshes etc. dont worry im not commanding you to do any of this i just wonder if its any of this is possible at all, and as suggestions if so
1. I understand the skin detail eyelashes uses the ring space, i dont fully understand this, but its amazing you figured this out. Is it at all possible to ‘route’ the meshes(?) some place other than the rings, possibly gloves, toenails, facial piercings etc
2. please briefly explain how the rings conflict with the eyelashes as mentioned above.
2. As you’ve figured out how to remove ea default eyelashes, is it possible to be able to replace them with your eyelashes. I understand this is either very difficult or impossible but i want a general outlook of the limitations of sims 4 mods, i have ocd (which seems unrelated) but it means i like everyhing done automatically as i will otherwise spend 49 years trying to create s sim that perfect i.e. applying eyelashes to every sim, every outfit and then i lose interest in the game.
3. This is a reach due to mesh ability/limitations of default skins, but would adding the eyelashes as default skins be possible?
Even if these ideas seem too extreme or unnecessary i would be so grateful if you could give a brief explanation of why its not possible do the 3 points/why its not a good idea/ and if it is possible, how to do it myself or your thoughts on the suggestion. i know you probably have a busy life, as do alot of people so i really respect you making this content available for free.
I dont mind how short or long your response is, im grateful youre reading it as youre a very creative and respected creator.

To answer your questions, I don’t know if I can tell them well in my poor English, but I will try my best.
1. the UV of the lashes must be mapped in a completely unique location and in a size large enough for the lashes to be drawn.
So, the best choice would be the UV of parts such as accessories, glasses, hats, etc. Decorative items such as gloves and tights are not suitable because they are mapped in such a way that they override the UVs of the sim’s hands and legs. Leg nails and facial piercings may be too small.
2. as noted above, the lashes utilize the UV of the rings to map to a unique UV. Therefore, when a sim wears a ring, both the eyelash and ring textures will be called out in the game. The appearance of the eyelashes will be incorrect.
As for replacing the EA eyelashes with my eyelashes, I can’t say exactly what it does because I haven’t actually tried it. However, the face mesh (which includes the eyelashes) will not work if the vertex ID or number of vertices are changed even slightly. So it may not be possible to replace the default with a face mesh that contains eyelashes with a completely different number of vertices.
3. since skins in The Sims 4 are made up of several textures, it may not be possible to make custom content, including meshes, function as skins.
If you really want to make the custom eyelashes the default, you may be able to use the eyelashes mesh of the original face mesh. However, this may require editing the lashes images included in all default skin textures. The original is just opaque and filled completely black…
I am not sure I have explained them well, but I hope I have helped in some way.

Hi, I hope you are doing well. I’m not sure if you were made aware of this or maybe it’s just me but I think the eyelash remover mod is broken. I found out this problem about a week ago. When I open CAS and randomize a sim, they have no face. I did the 50/50 method and it led me to your mod. If you may please look into it, it would be very appreciated

I have tried opening CAS and creating a number of random sims, but could not reproduce the problem of disappearing faces.
I have previously updated the eyelash remover on September 10, 2023 due to a problem with alien faces disappearing when the game patch was updated.
If the mod file is still out of date, can you please try the updated version?
To check, move all mods out of your Mods folder to the desktop, etc., and then put the lash remover (be sure to select either [Kijiko]Remove-EA-Lashes.package or [Kijiko]Remove-EA-Lashes_CAS.package, you cannot use both at the same time.) in your Mods folder.
