Hi Kijiko. The Sims update today broke all cc eyelashes, including yours. They float around the eye and away from the face. This includes glasses and skin detail versions. I wanted to let you know.
Um hello! I am having some trouble with the newest eyelashes and i will try redownloading but i thought it’d be best to explain the issue.
As i can not leave a picture, the eyelashes seem to not be… (i dont know tech language) rigged to the eyes? its cutting through the skin and is farther back into the face than i suppose it is supposed to be.
It may be my body presets but i didnt think they would affect the eyes TwT

Forgive me i checked around and have been told the hotfix is what has displaced your eyelashes. Have a nice day <3
Hi Kijiko. I’ve never had issues with your eyelashes before but after todays patch update they no longer fit my sims eyes & they are far too large & just sit around their eyes

I am currently looking into whether a fix can be made for my CC lashes problem in the latest patch(1.108.349.1020 of 8 August). Please give me for some time.
Saw your eyelash comment on Twitter, but I don’t have an account so I’m commenting here: I use your Skin Detail lashes with glasses all the time and it looks so good!!! Hopefully switching them to the new category in make up retains that functionality because I thought I found gold when I figured out your lashes can work with glasses. To be sure, some ring options can cause the lashes textures to freak out, but I’d rather use lashes with glasses than any of the other options I have in rings. I have several screenshots of one of my sims using your lashes with Tamo’s glasses if you’re interested in seeing proof!

The lashes that have been moved to the Makeup category have just changed category on the in-game menu. As before, the use of eyelashes instead of wearing glasses or rings has not changed.
The lashes that rings conflict with can still be used with glasses, although they no longer have the same functionality as the skin detail version such as moles and freckles, which are kept at any outfits.
With your updates to the eyelashes, the uncurled lashes are still in the incorrect space on the eye. All the other ones are fine.
Which of the following files did you download?

Also, could you try moving all mods and CCs in your mods folder to another location and check with only the new eyelash files in your mods folder?
I had them both in game, i deleted the glasses version and it fixed. Not sure if this is intended.
Hi! I seen where you had updated your lashes thank you so much for the speedy update! I was wondering if you had any plans on updating the [Kijiko]eyelash_YU_v2_fine-colored.package and the [Kijiko]eyelash_YU_v2_Uncurled_fine-colored as well? Thank you for all your hard work!

as for the lashes there, the update to the 8 August patch is not necessary. As for whether I will create a makeup version of them, I am sorry, but I have no plan to do it very soon at the moment. I’ll think about it when I have some time to spare. I hope you will understand.

Yes, those lashes were made a long time ago and are no longer updated. It would be great if you could remove them and use 3D Lashes Version 2 (https://kijiko-catfood.com/3d-lashes-version2/) or the makeup version of it. (https://kijiko-catfood.com/3d-lashes-makeup-version/)

Yea, I’ve downloaded ALL and replace what I had. I just need to replace their glasses version to the current one which is tons of work :p Thanks!

Hello! I really love your eyelashes and I’ve been using them forever in my game. However, when I updated them, they still don’t work aside from the makeup lashes. The makeup lashes work perfectly, but I can’t use a lot of them with rings— Do you have plans to update the skin detail or glasses versions? It was really nice to have those options because it meant that if one version conflicted with rings or glasses, I could just pick the eyelashes from another category and then the problem was solved, but now it’s a lot more difficult to find those workarounds. Thank you so much!

Do you mean that your problem is that rings and lashes can’t be used together?

Also, the previous versions of the glasses and skin detailing versions have been updated to fix the problems with the 8/8 patch.
