ファイルか開けないと表示されます
ダウンロード時にネット接続がタイムアウトする等の理由で、ダウンロード自体が失敗している可能性があります。
再ダウンロードしてみて下さい。
また、アーカイバーによっては解凍時に開けない事がある可能性もあります。
7-Zip、WinRAR 等の別のアーカイバーを試してみて下さい。
すごく気に入ったので是非Mac対応にしていただきたい。

ファイルが開けない、と言うのはダウンロードしたzipファイルが解凍できない、という事でしょうか？
Macだと、zipファイルをダブルクリックすると、OS X標準のアーカイブユーティリティが自動に起動して、解凍できるはずなんですが・・・
アーカイブユーティリティが起動しない場合、StuffIt Expanderとかもあります

ですが、自身のMacでダウンロードしたzipファイルを上記のユーティリティで開ける事を確認していますので、解凍できない場合はダウンロードの際にファイルがなんらかの理由で破損したもしくはダウンロードが完了していない可能性があります。
インストールはWin版とあまり違わず、
ユーザー\(ユーザー名)\書類\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods
の中に入れるだけで動きます。その他Modに関するよくあるトラブルもWin版と同様に、
ゲームのバージョンが古い
サブフォルダーに入れたが、Resource.cfgの内容がサブフォルダーを認識できるよう編集されていない
といった所が問題でインストールできていない事があるようです。
推測できる限りを挙げてみましたが、開けない理由が、いずれのものでもない場合、ちょっと原因がわからないかもしれません・・・すみません。
ダウンロードしたら右上が折れてる白い紙と画像と.txtが出るんですが三つともmodsに入れればいいんですか？
私が使ってるsims4はデジタルデラックスじゃない方をプレイしてるんですがそれも関係しますか？

「右上が折れてる白い紙」はファイルアイコンの形状の事ですよね？
そちらのファイルの拡張子、.packageとなっているかと思います。
もし拡張子が表示されていない場合、Finderの環境設定から、「すべてのファイル拡張子を表示する」にチェックを入れてみてください。
Modフォルダに入れるのは、.packageファイルのみでOkです。
（全てのMod、カスタムコンテンツに言える事ですが、これらの使用はEAのサポート外ですので、ご自身の責任でご使用下さい。）
.txtファイルはファイル名のとおりReadMeファイルとなっていますので、インストール前にぜひご一読下さい。
デジタルデラックスではない通常版でも動作します。（デジタルデラックスはおまけコンテンツが入っているだけで通常版と中身は同じものです。）
